Task/Problem Overview
Certain documents that default to print may become redundant or unneeded for your organization. This KB will help you locate the settings that control the printing of various document types.
Site Settings
There are no site settings that control the printing of any document
Warehouse Level Settings (Packaging List, Driver Copy, Billing Copy, Put Away Report)
All settings for the document types listed below can be configured per warehouse to control the default printing settings for all users associated with that warehouse.
## General Settings *(Packaging List, Packaging Label, Receipt, Invoice, Simple Packaging Label)*
General settings are per-user settings.
Point of Sale Settings (Pick Ticket)
POS settings are per-user settings. The user must be set as a “Point of Sale System” for these settings to be considered.
Sales Order Level Settings (Pick Ticket)
This is the only order-level flag that controls the printing of documents and is set by default based on the POS settings discussed above. You can manually check or uncheck the “Don’t Print PT” box for any given order to produce the desired printing action.
Shipper Level Settings (Packaging List, Invoice)
The settings pictured below will be set to the defaults specified in the WH and General settings discussed above. They can be manually toggled on and off to produce the desired printing action.
Receiver Level Settings (Put Away Report)
The setting pictured below will be set to the default specified in the WH level settings discussed above. This can be toggled on and off to produce the desired printing action.
